I admire you incorrigibility @denmarkguy. Writing for me can be a bit of a tortuous experience. I could do with a bit of your love for it!
I answer comments on my own posts first.
Then I comment on the posts of people I follow.
Then I try and put up a post.
Then, if there's time, I look in the "new" feed to see what new inspiration I can find.
There is never enough time especially as I enjoy the photography contests so I'm often out and about looking for subjects for those.
I'm still finding that my long form posts don't produce any more interaction or income that my short photography posts so, as I'm not a lover of writing, there's not much incentive to write them.
I'm still hoping that that might change when I've got more of a following who actually engage on my longer posts.
That's not a given though as things seem to be changing so much on Steemit.
