NEVER UNDERESTIMATE ANYONE

The fact that someone has the opportunity to occupy an influential position today does not mean that power cannot change hands. Never underestimate anyone because of their current state or position because you cannot predict tomorrow, surprises can spring up at any time. Looking down on people is one of the biggest mistakes people make. No matter your class or position you hold, never look down on anyone.

I would use myself as an example, my dad had this mechanic who most of the time fix his cars when it is faulty, and my dad treats him with respect. After college, we had a mandatory one year service to the country. I was posted to a place not so good and it was a really difficult place to stay. One way or the other, my dad’s mechanic found out, I really do not know how though, but he told my dad that he knows someone who can assist me with a good place that he also repair the man’s car. He called the man and the man scheduled an appointment for me. When I got to the place, lo and behold, it was one of the biggest tv station in the country. When I got there and said I wanted to see the man, it turned out to be an influential man in the organization, I was given preferential treatment and he told me that I can work in that tv station, he also gave me a note for the change. Tracing it back, it was my dad’s mechanic who was my helper.

The second example was a movie though, the guy was really underestimated because he was poor and was treated anyhow because he was not buoyant financially but unknown to them, he decided to behave poor so he could find a woman who loves him for who he is and not for his money. By the time the family realized that, it was too late for them.

In Conclusion,
Treat everyone with respect, because even a spoilt clock shows the time correctly two times per day. Be humble and accord everyone with respect.

Words of wisdom, for sure... Looks can be quite deceiving.. Underestimating others has been to my detriment a few times in my past... Thank you for this reminder!

I am so glad my post was a reminder. You are very correct, looks can be pretty deceiving. Thanks for your comment.
