I admit there will be a few problems with this, so the first thing to make a bit more feasible would be to make the language very easy to learn, this would probably exclude any natural language from the search. This leaves us with only conlangs, but that is still too wide a net to cast, since some of these are made to feel natural, this will make them unsuitable for this purpose.
I think there is a few languages that could be used for this, however I might know of all language that could fit this role, I really only think Esperanto or toki pona, though I am sure that there must be a few more.
Just I am not familiar with others.
Besides now we have found a language we can start with, would it be possible to create enough content to entice enough others to learn the language to make it have an impact?
My goal would be to create a language that would be spoken by a vast majority this would make international communication much easier. But how would any body be convinced to learn a new language, lofty ideas such as the general improvement to humanity will not be enough to convince most people.
So far it is mostly a dream, how great it would be if every body just comprehended each other?
Belief or not, we could all speak an international language, at least in Europe but guess what one country decided to not be in favor.
First France decided not to support Esperanto as an interlang, but then both the Nazis and the Soviet also decided it was not meant to be, even some
initial success, but that was not meant to be.
English seems to be an almost useful language, but then it is not exactly that widely used.
Would it not be great if we could all just speak one language?
From another point of view we have that language, but a language without words, the language of our hearts and souls, called "Earthlinglis" 😅 or something like that.

But it is hard to be specific without words?
EDIT:
Thats true, it wouldnt be a language to discuss and speak or write.
But wich one to choose as basis? English, Latin, Spain, french? Wich only are so important because of huge colonization and Repression in the past? No good Base?
Universal language based in our oldest anchestors difficult because their words of course we're all only about survival and Natural Things. There have been a lot of ideas to this topic https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Universal_language
An interesting but difficult topic.
Still as non native english Speaker I see I often cannot go into deeper discussion, reading Long interesting Text also difficult, or also sometimes jokes are hard to understand
Edit
Maybe AI will make it one day, or my preferred option: the next generations will bring this language organicly grown.
Because looking at my niece 9 years and active in internet: If we would not correct her, I guess she would and others would speak different.
maybe give memes a try? But there might also be some problems with this, since it really is not so universal as we might have thought once?
Guess memes are very different to cultures?
At the end probably it will be English, because most companies use it.
yes, also I meant to write emojis just to be clear, but the rest of that statement still stands.
a smiling face can convey different things in different cultures.
but more likely is probably that something like a thumbs up will be misunderstood?
👍
🙂
😘
The fact that you use english for your post speaks for itself.
Why did you not use Esperanto?
Seems there is no alternative to english.
easy, I have simply not learned Esperanto yet, also the reach might be smaller?
