A mistake that often occurs when a writer does the editing as he writes. He forgot it's time to write or it's time to write the storyline.
I am happy with the words: Put the book down and step away from the book. Go and have a break. Take time off from THE BOOK !. Now me time without writing a script.
The right time to rest and when the total rest is done, the brain will think about what needs to be added and discarded.

You're right. The brain works in the background, solving issues with the book. I often come back to find I actually do know how to get around a problem that was frustrating me before.
