The bolder the better, the robust you pursue it, the more it endows your passion to persuade your writing proficiency to perfection in an effort to achieve the very purpose that you ever wanted as a writer. Reasons or alibis not to write are an excuse as ancient as Pyramid of Giza! Excitement can be deceiving; you may think or sense that you are on the right tract, looking forward to get it done in no time. But as soon as you sit there right in front of your PC nothing much to keying some concept, words or phrases didn't even exist when you try to look for them, staring blankly on your Smartphone, unable to move your thumbnail, your thought are like in trance, wandering in a place where words and phrases aren't there, your mind drifted miles away, while you didn't move an inch.
It seems that someone or something is blocking your plan. You may not even know it, but it's there, right there in front of you, the cobweb that's hanging around for so many seasons, blocking your "muse", incapable to penetrate your hypothalamus that control your hunger, thirst, body temperature or even your emotional and sleeping activity that might help to trigger your mind to scribed on to your ancient papyrus or your high tech unemotional gadget! You don't like your work to be dusted by cobweb, though, you felt your work was as astounding as the others, the problem is writing with fire is another thing to consider.
A Two Cents to Ignore Untangling the cobweb is as easy as SLEEPING LIKE A BABY. Yes, you read it right! People who are deprived of sleep isn't going to be a good day for them. While lack of sleeping our ability to write progressively dwindled by the time we get to work, irritated, family issues that doesn't end, girlfriend in trouble—she's torn between two guys in her life, boyfriend in trouble—he was gunshot wedding upon arriving at the airport, mother is sick to the bone, father isn't going home, maybe he's too busy with his 3 mistresses. Writing for many is a tedious job, it may be true, but if we practice an 8 hour habit of sleeping, it will be as easy like 1 2 3. Really?
You Feed Your Desire With Fire! Unless the cobweb that is blocking your path to writing smoothly has been cleared, feeding your desire with fire will not ablaze that will run your imaginative creation to its fullest potential. We all have our desires, our minds can create unlimited volition! But what have you been truly desire is really the one you intended to pursue? Sporadically, if I may so, desires run dry when you are not interested, it falls short, you don't have enough avenue to go to, you are lost looking for the right way to start anew and fresh ideas, still, by becoming to focus on the things that is unwanted into your creative juices and not enough gist, pretty sure you'll shelve your work in no time. The brain really is spanless, it is a vessel of spontaneous information that can extract from decades ago to be used in order to keep your desires afloat. Our capacity to effectively clean the cobweb that is constantly hindering our creativeness must be imposed in order for the writer to develop awareness, being fully attentive to his/her endeavor, keep the fire alive in our hearts and our pen!
Become a Slave of Mental Block I never had an issue about mental blocks. I see or often heard about having a hard time to write: “I can’t think straight”, much worst “I don’t know what to write?! “Funny… There are almost 8 billion people on this planet, be sure to pick a good topic just right for you! There are tons of topics out there cluttering in your backyard to write, it’s just the spanless brain of yours, YOU, isn’t working the way it should be. It’s not mental block, your creativeness seems to be LACKING because you are not prepared to push harder your Mental Creativity, when thought about the topic, your brain sends a signal to your database and read or show it back to you, the problem with that is it’s cluttered. You don’t have enough time to react once the information is being given to you in billion of a seconds. Now try this, why not choose a word that could trigger your topic. If the subject is about flower, there are thousands of information about flower, now choose what suits you, you don’t just choose, think when you choose. This will be your starting point to engage in your topic, now use your nose “mentally”, then try to smell a flower near you or in your backyard. Feel the essence of this particular flower, start with it, now write down a note just to keep the flow describing it: The night blossoms as the flower sends its perfume across the veranda. Now you have described the night and the flower, what next?
The Failure to Acknowledge The Obvious While it has always persisted that our inevitable changing of mood can vary from time to time, but doesn't mean we will stop there and have it hang there for many hours or even a year! Maybe the obvious reasons are there right in front of us, acknowledging it is another thing to decide. Most of us when we are unable to complete the tasks we tend to rest for a while, think of many things that can reattach ourselves from the one we are busy doing it. If possible, I'm just assuming it, that's what you are now dealing with is not responding well to the very core of what you are doing, leave it for a while, find a niche that will suit your mood, feeling, and even your abrupt changing of what you are thinking. Not every topic we've written does have an impact on our lives, sometimes we write just for the sake of writing that we begin to think that what we have just scribed makes it easy to do than to getting a bond with what you really like to write. The failure to acknowledge the obvious can be devastating when it comes to composing a letter, an article, a poem or simply writing a journal, let the obvious be acknowledge find the way to keep at bay, never ever bother you while you are in your inner sanctum writing your best! If somehow we can acknowledge the obvious reasons why we can't write continuously it's because we allow it to dominate us, especially personal struggle.
Just Keep On Writing I don't have to say much on this except continue doing it. It's like a routinely chore that can benefited the reader or us!

hmm does sums up the meaning of mental or writers block but there should not be any hmm can be laziness too.
Yes, laziness too. There are a lot of reasons and alibis, it will never end so long as we are still alive and kicking. Thanks purpledaisy57!

actually sinusubukan ko po sir, sana pwede.. hehe,
I often experience this. I told myself I dont have anything to write then minutes later, scribbing down some topic and of course. always about parenting. LOL
Thank you for this sir.
Pak na pak! Thank u for these helpful tips sir John. I will go outside to smell the flowers and write what I observed. You're very creative. I also agree that our personal problems can affect our concentration because it happened to me.
There are so many things to write about, so much so that i get confused at times which one to start and ended up doing nothing at all. There are times that I've have already wrote the article but decided not to publish it because i just don't feel like it or I think i can do better. There are times that I redo an article over and over again just to scrap it in the end. I dunno maybe i lack confidence in writing.
I love to write with a nice topic ahead.
Nice one @iwrite, you know I am trying do my best that in all my contents I could convey some important message that could be beneficial to everyone. I hope I can do it.
If you have the heart in writing.

Writing is a way of expressing... Of conveying your thoughts, either in a factual or creative way... :) And since we're here, it's an obvious thought that writing is part of our life... Let's enjoy it! ^^
