Sophie and Frieda are friends that understood the rhythm of songs. Sophie played the flute while Frieda played the violin. Whenever both played the duet, their listeners were always enthralled by the melody they produced.
One day tragedy struck, Sophie had a ghastly motor accident that ended her life. With no one to play with, Frieda soon lost the joy of music. In due time their fans began to encourage Frieda to find her purpose in life. She thus decided to let the past remain a blessed past with Sophia in it and she was determined to carve out a future in which she can shine, thus immortalizing Sophia. She then began to rediscover her passion again.
The basis for her decision rested squarely on a diary she found written by Sophia, it read: “I found my music because of Frieda and my flute gave me purpose, in any case my will is to be the best I can be, and to see how Frieda can be the best she can be. But if I die O Frieda, keep my flute for posterity, so they can taste it with envy. Yes, to always be remembered as "Sophie’s flute.”
