As a preface note, the impetus for this series was two-fold: (1) I have had a lifelong fear of sharing my own fiction work and wanted to break through that and help others to do the same; (2), I needed a plan for something to regularly write about on Steemit, and I have a long history of studying and working on the mechanics of fiction (as well as a masters degree in creative writing).
