It takes time for people to learn this lesson, but I really like this:
consciously choosing the perspective of observant curiosity
If we try to suppress our thoughts and feelings, they seem to pop up at other times and in other ways. If we don't take notice and deal with our thoughts and feelings, we become slaves to them and seem to lose forward progress.

Yes, definitely! Suppression is only a temporary fix, and a precursor to a more explosive emotion later. Being observant instead of resistant or critical is very helpful. Thanks for tuning in!
