Darkest Moment

The sun had sunk into the jaws of darkness.
The heavens were covered in black tapestry
Glistening stars had turned coral black
A storm hung across the forehead of humanity
The moon was a shadow of its deception
I crept into the darkest part of my room
As an unreal storm blew her trumpet into my eardrums
Suddenly the rain started calling
As motes of lightening played their string
My brain started shuttering
Before my very palpitations
My legs were reduced to trembling hooks dancing to the music of fear
My hands disappeared into a sea of goosebumps
As my soul jolted away from the danger which loomed
As the windows started clasping against each other
An indescribable tidal wave of danger banged at my door
The chandelier started hissing like a snake as a dark hue spat onto its glee.
With my heart in-between my teeth
I was left clasping my trembling hands against couch..
'Is this my end?' I asked!
But to whom?!
As I was locked up in my realm of muses
A barrel of tears crumbled down my eye's gates of rebellion.
A hairy beast prowled majestically across my sight
In search of blood I guessed.
Then slowly it climbed up aloft my legs
I was gripped by fear such that I could defeat it.
It wiggld across my desolate thighs causing me to tingle with fear
Then just like my white knight
A heavy wind screamed the hairy monster before it could sting..
Liberated, my heart was left dangling between the walls of fear and excitement.

Just as happiness was about to mitigate my fears
I beheld a fleet of flies approaching me with all airs of distaste,
'What did I do?' I asked
But to whom?!
Within the dark room of my very self
I was drifting away from myself
All my dreams whispered away in a tint of a second,
Fear overthrew my manliness
I was reduced to nothingness.
The fleet encircled my forlorn head
The rain had stopped falling
But I could hear her droplets
Singing as they clung to the hands of the windows.
Before me
Was my soul drifting away in fright
Darkness had enslaved me.
Pictures of the graveyard flashed through my mind incessantly
Yet the fleet waited patiently around my forlorn head.
"Kill me!" I shouted, my voice faltering away into faints of trembles.
"Kill me you cowards!" I yelled again as the bitter sweet taste of my tears intoxicated my lips.
Somehow I found pleasure in shouting at the hungry beasts who had encircled my head.
My emissaries had consorted my spirit with great fear
It ate deeply into my loins
Through every nook and cranny of my veins and arteries
There was a sudden calmness in the room
A cloud of stillness clothed us
The heathens and myself : their subject.
Everything seemed calmly out of place
Chandelier hung darkly silent across the ceiling
Pictures of loved ones laid tranquilly broken on the floor
Paws of books laid gleamed with rain as the bookshelf romped heavily on them.
The fiendish fleet of flies made ugly lowly sounds
Like the sound of danger
The music of triumph plagued by the music of danger and vendetta
'What was my wrongdoing?'
Out of nowhere
From across the living room
I could see a masculine wraith
His eyes though, glinted with red sea hue
Hate flared up in his eyes as he took quiet steps toward me
When I beheld the wickedness etched on his forehead
My fears came to pass
Finally my life would end
My tired eyes would close and cease to open again
The fiendish creature motioned to the fleet of flies beckoning them to encircle him.
That was it
'They would encircle him and then aim at me.' I thought
In my last moments
I flipped through my greatest memories on earth in a haste
My bulky eyes were devoid off tears as I had cried to flooded streams already
Fear was the only thing decent enough to remain seated in my heart
Ripping my roots apart minute-by minute
Before the creature passed my judgement
Then as if the creature could discern my thoughts
The hungry beasts formed themselves into a United cluster
Instinctively my eyebrow laid my eyes to bed
My head throbbed with the reality
That my life would dwindle a way after some seconds
I clasped by lips into my mouth
While gritting my teeth as I awaited my end
Then out of nowhere
A storm heavy enough to scream a mountain into silts
Swept across the room
Shoving me off the couch and onto the floor
My eyes came to life
As I beheld complete silence
Silence of the graveyard
The fleet was gone
The wraith was nowhere to be seen
A huge wave of defeated air
Was the only thing left seeping comfortingly through the unbarred windows
As my heart rumbled loudly soothing
In my chest.

Seems all awesome dead poets have resurrected in you..... The suspense got me glued. Right choice of words for such a gothic poem. Let me spill out my "Wow"

First! The lines... I had to grab a bottle of beer and spill sense in it like I am relacing liquor with juice...
It was well detailed and man... It was just too enjoyable... I felt I was on a ride with an angel telling me tales about things unthought.
Well! Is there any leg out on the poem...
Absolutely No! Just the best I have read sofar on this platform...
Take my kuddos like its a million dollar cheque.
I might come back later to give this a recheck.
