Mr. Arvezgion stood up, rubbed his head and walked out of his office. Reaching for his phone, he dialed his chauffer and asked him to prepare the car. In the elevator, he closed his eyes and paced up and down, partly because the chief scientist leading this project was down with some malaria. The elevator ringed at the parking lot and as he stepped out, his chauffer was already waiting for him. He quickly opened the door for his boss and took his position.
“Where to sir?” He asked
“To the pick-up point.” Mr. Arvezgion instructed him.
“It’s finally arrived?”
“Yes, and the program will be completed in about 3 months”
“Okay. Let’s get going”
The driver started the engine and they drove to the pick-up point of the 100 megaton power source. Upon arrival, the ship could still be seen off-loading tons of hardware and equipment for other top ranking companies. Mr. Arvezgion stepped out of his car and went to clear his goods. After some keyboard clacking her and there, a truck belonging to Umbrella Inc. was loaded with the power source and it began to drive out of the docks. Mr. Arvezgion signaled his driver and together, they drove back to HQ to attend other equally important business.
“Sir, it is when an animal eats another animal of the same type which leads to the reduction of the animal species” Cynthia answered.
“Not too accurate, but has an iota of truth in it. Who will polish it up?” Mr. Samuel asked.
Not a single hand went up and the clock could be heard ticking away.
“That’s bad. You students do not like reading at all. Reading does not kill a man, but enhances him. Have any of you people seen someone’s head burst due to excessive reading?” he angrily blurted out to his students. Mr. Samuel was the biology teacher for the form 3 Science A class. He was red with fury because he taught them the topic just yesterday.
“He looks like he’s going to explode.” Mary whispered to Nihad.
“Well, that’s his jaw, not mine.” She replied
“Don’t you know the answer?”
“No, but…”
“Hey you! Stand up” Mr. Samuel screamed at her.
“You better tell me the answer or it’s the field for you” he added.
Stammering and scared, Nihad fumbled for words in her brain to put together and tell him something reasonable, if not sensible. Her head was on fire and she began to perspire on her forehead. At last she began mumbling out some words. The teacher seemed to swell with anger and began to clap. Instinctively, the class joined him although they didn’t know why.
“So you knew the answer after all.” He said to her.
A relived Nihad slumped into her chair and let out a heavy sigh. Mary tried hard not to explode into laughter.
“Your honour, I put it to this man here that he stole Mr. Yahaya's bunch of plantains. Lawyer Mercy said to the judge. Mercy Arvezgion was the wife of Mr. Arvezgion and she was a lawyer by profession. On trial currently was Mr. Yaw Bomo. He allegedly borrowed Mr. Yahaya's bunch of plantains without permission.
“Objection my lord.” Lawyer John cut in.
“Objection overruled.” The judge answered
After listening to the account of some eyewitnesses he asked him
“Do you please guilty or not guilty?”
A trembling Yaw replied “guilty”.
“Very well. By the rules to the Republic of Ghana, I summon you to a week of community service in the streets, after which you will sign a bond of good behavior. This sitting is now adjourned.”
The gavel was struck and people began to disperse in various directions. Lawyer Mercy began packing her files and documents into her bag when she was approached by Mr. Yahaya. They exchanged pleasantries and went their separate ways. Some media persons buzzed around asking questions about the case. Lawyer Mercy hopped into her Nissan Maxima and drove off to attend other schedules.
“What are the odds that they’d survive?” the head of the GGS asked.
“Like 10 in a hundred” the researcher replied.
“That’s too thin.” Mr. John said
“But we will have to do it” Mr. Zed replied him.
“Okay, but how about their families incase anything should happen.” Mr. Timothy added.
“The necessary things that must be done will be done.” The head replied.
“Mr. Pram, what do you think should be done?” the head asked him.
“Well, all that was said here is good, but I suggest that instead of sending humans directly, let’s send a reconnaissance plane and lock our satellite on the location, to unmask any unusual activity there. If it’s clear, then we can send people there” Mr. Pram replied him.
“Okay, how many in support?” the head asked
Six out of ten members of the council put up their hands.
“Okay. We will send a reconnaissance plane to the location, lock our satellites there and two of the Z10 drones to make sure it’s not dangerous as it seems before we send humans. This sitting is closed.” The head declared.

Yaw should have lied....l guess...to see the attitude of the judge.lol...keep sharing
With all those witnesses... He would have received a more hefty sentence if the judge found out he lied... He saved his own skin there...
