Any believer who does this should desist from it. Matthew 5:24 says
leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift
Hence, a good relationship with others is a very vital core of Christianity. So I'd advice everyone to makes things right with his or her neighbours before we make things right with God.
1 John 4:20
Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother or sister is a liar. For whoever does not love their brother and sister, whom they have seen, cannot love God, whom they have not seen

Leviticus 25:44
