I light a candle in my hand because someone has turned it on for me. I looked in the dark and could walk with certainty as I found my way home. In the mental realm, I have the power to distinguish what is right and what is not. With an enlightened mind, I am free.
If I light a candle, I will empower the light-supplying light without reducing my own ability. With such simple actions, I make my place brighter than ever. If I light a hundred candles, it will be quiet and certainly more brilliant than ever without reducing my own light. Intellectually, individuals will become truth seekers who seek to live according to the universal law of love, joy and peace.
Freeing the mind begins with reading. One can not really participate in a community without knowing how to read. Reading can be taught, reading can be learned. The excitement of self-reading is similar to walking on both our own feet like a toddler for the first time. Since then, we never stopped walking, we walked and we even ran.
Find someone to teach how to read and share the joy and freedom that accompanies this achievement.
