Many people think they can accumulate wealth through the job they took under their employers, but are clueless that not in all situation does this work. As an employee, you may never be richer than your boss, the employer because He controls the expansion of your pocket and you serve him at all times he wants. You work to increase his/her wealth but he/she controls your barn- your income through the salary you receive from him.
In a country where there is over-dependence on office works(white collar job), which results into the underuse of skills and decay of ambition, because of lack of innovation and creativity (case study: NIGERIA).
You decide where you want to be later in life, even the next day of today. No employer is good enough, having known the resourcefulness and skills you possess, and yet not keep you to himself. Your boss is no fool. You have to step ahead and wise up.
One thing you must know in life is that your expenses are not fixed, but your salary is fixed and steady. As a man or woman, there are responsibility you cannot let go but must cater for. To be able to deliver successfully, you must be able to think beyond your job and earn beyond your pay.
More so, it is rare to see an employer that pays their employees the salary they deserve in proportion to their capability(output). You must develop a sense of leadership in your business and area of discipline as well as skills. To change your current status quo, you have got to develop yourself and make plans which are feasible to letting you get to where you are heading.

In spite of the close relationship you might have built with your employer you can be fired at any point in time when your service is no more needed or at the moment the company is having a structural change. The fact is, you cannot be fired from your own establishment.
Until you come to realize that you may not come to fulfil purpose or ambition, if you are still permanently under the control of your boss. You must add or discover a new ocean if you want to boost your income. Being an employee is never a bad thing but dying an employee is a bad legacy.
