It is not often I see a "movie" that reaches deep and touches my spirit. One such was Disney's "Queen of Katawe" starring Nikita Pearl Waligwa. This movie brought about a small glow of hope that the World is opening up to everyone. Not to long ago, there was war raging across Central Africa and every Citizen was frightened of losing their children to rebels.
The young girl who played Phiona Mutesi, "Nikita Pearl Waligwa" passed away from a brain tumor. She was diagnosed in 2016 and it was declared gone. Unfortunately, the tumor re-appeared in 2017 and she passed away after "Selling everything I had" to pay for treatment in India when her home country, Uganda, said they didn't have the equipment to treat her.
