Have you ever really wondered on why you are stucked in the financial mouse race?
What the heck is a is a mouse race?
A mouse race is a situation in which a rat is been pursued, it runs from it's pursuer only to be stuck in the same place time and time again.
Bring this to ourselves, Have you ever really thought of why you are suddenly broke after you've been in possession of huge amount of cash?
I guess not!!! it's almost become normal. You earn, spend, run out of cash and boom! the whole thing keeps repeating itself. You don't have a net worth but then you make a lot of money, and the worst part of it is that you're deep in debt and doesn't really know how to come out of it. This is going to be short and to the point, why that happens to you my friend, is because you don't understand the natural law of money and without a basic understanding of the principle of financial freedom, you're doomed to live a poor or moderately comfortable life. You're never going to accumulate wealth.
First of all, when you earn, you should pay yourself first.
What do I mean?
Before you think of the luxuries your money can buy you and all the things you can do with it, first of all set aside a part of it ( one- tenth of cash) for yourself and determine not to touch it and then you can use the rest. But make sure not to spend it on things you don't need.
Imagine you walk into a shop, you see that shoe you've always wanted, it'll match perfectly with the gown and purse you've got at home and there's a 25% discount off sales, your subconscious mind readily wants to buy it, the price is fair and it matches your taste, boom!! you pay for it and its yours and you're so happy. You get to notice that once you've gotten home, you come to the realization that you're $100 in debt and the shoe money could've covered for it. You get angry with yourself, forgetting that the subconscious mind only brings out what it's fed. When you let your emotions control your finances, you're doomed for a life of poverty and struggle.
