Our Home and animal rescue Shelter has been devastated in the September 19th Earthquake in Morelos Mexico!

30 seconds, thats all it took.
If I had been sitting on the toilet in my bathroom I wouldn't be writing this to you today! As it was, I was inches from being crushed by falling concrete and glass from the second story. I was certainly guided by unseen hands, because I was dumbfounded by the reality of what was happening, just like in the movies when you see the people standing when they should be running or at the very least your screaming at the tv screen "don't go that WAY!!" but of course they go that way and the movie drama unfolds to your horror. Ya well ...something like that anyway. My instincts were to get out of the house but it happens that the danger was higher in my doing that!

This was not like any earthquake we had EVER felt before, my hubby is from Victoria, BC. Canada and has felt quite a few earthquakes in his life there but nothing like this, the house was shaking from side to side violently and then it was was jarring UP and down, thump, thump. They say it was 7.1 but we were sure this was definitely way above that! but of course I can't confirm any of this my seismograph was on the fritz. This was what did the most damage, it literally moved sections of our house and cracked many support beams. My house was broken... but my family was miraculously unharmed, my husband was on the upper level writing his book on the computer when it began and he somehow managed to come down the back stairs unscathed only a few minor cuts and bruises after the quake to look for me and the rest of the family. I only sustained a cut over my eye from being clothes lined by a rope supporting a tarp for shade close to the property wall, and a cut on my leg from the glass falling. It took us about 20 minutes to locate all of the animals because they were soooooo scared and were hiding under things (animals are so much smarter than people!! I was still in shock. What just happened? How could this happen? WHY did this happen? All of our resources had been put into building our home, our sanctuary, our rescue shelter. We live very simply, and had enough savings for about a year of living, until we could get some revenue from the sale of the books we were about to publish.
I can tell you that I am a pretty positive person and love to make light of most things so they don't weigh a person down, so for the most part I try to stay positive about this experience, however I do have days where I feel utter despair when I look at all the damage our house sustained, I don't even like to look up at my art room anymore, it is a crushing feeling. I still can't believe this has happened. We moved to the state of Morelos in Mexico because It Hadn't any history of earthquake epicentres or hurricanes or tornadoes or volcanos or Flooding!
Until now....(pretty sure the powers that control the world have a weather machine that can do some cray cray shit! seriously!) Maybe this is their Climate change agenda! arghhh)
We are about a month away from publishing our ebooks on line. We have been writing for 5 years and have about 50 (almost) completed books in our series of books entitled ~Lightning in a Bottle~The Most Important Rock Albums in Music History~unveiling the truth for humanity.
ps I am not the writer as you will tell from my Helter Skelter blog posts, my husband is however. I am the artist and animal whisperer and chef of our vegetarian cuisine!

These Artists who have made it on the list of 150 Most Important Rock Albums in Music History have Been writing and sharing their insight with us formally years! Their messages are at times clear and other times they are couched in the lyrics for those who care enough to dig deeper.
We will be releasing the Books in no particular order and hopefully one a week, (we hope) editing and HE always seems to be adding more important stuff when he edits!
We are also open to anyones opinions on other bands that might fit into our specified criteria that allowed them to make the list and if you have some really compelling reasons we can always add them on...We don't have a limit, just a set of specification that must be met for each album to make it!

This is our ONLY home and we have lived here for going on 5 years now and we spend our lives creating from our home...writing and painting and caring for our rescued animals. The whole house was damaged, every room. However,
My art room was the most damaged. We may have to demolish it! I pray NOT! We have had to stop the reparations until further funds appear magically into our grateful little hands. WE are madly trying to publish and market our books that we have been working/researching for the last 5 years. We are dedicated to sharing and waking up those who have eyes to see the agenda that is rolling out daily in our lives.

Before the earthquake, we were about to put the finishing touches on the formatting for publishing our first in the series. With all that has been happening here in our small state of Morelos, it will take us a little longer than expected.
The earthquake of Sept. 19 has left our home so vulnerable and in a weakened state. We now need to construct core columns all around our home to support the existing damaged columns and walls afflicted in the violent quake. We have walls that have fallen away and core columns that are broken and in a brick and cement home the weight of the roof is immense!

There is NO earthquake insurance here, we are on our own. As are all the others who have sustained Damages. We have just used up all of our savings to begin construction on the new columns, we are now hanging on faith. My best friend in Canada has set up a gofundme web page and has been campaigning for donations to help out with our cause.( I keep thinking that even if someone were to donate 5 dollars it would be amazing and if a few hundred people were to care, we could have our exterior supported.) She is an amazing and beautiful person. There are many people here who are devastated by this tragedy and in need of help. The Freakin governments of other countries have been so generous with the Mexican Government, Billions of pesos have been donated by countries and citizens but not one peso has been delivered to the people here who are in need of it! The Mexicans in our town are very very Pissed off and angry but not surprised at all with the local Government.
Please follow your hearts and help out where ever you can, and if you feel compelled to help us, Thank you from the depths of our hearts, if you choose someone else to give a helping hand to, We thank you from the bottom of our hearts as well. We are all one and somehow, someway we will rise from the rubble and join our hearts to build a world filled with love and abundance for all. I am not kidding about this. It is my dream to be a part of creating a world where EVERYONE is considered valuable and communities help one another regardless of any differences or lack of money! Thanks for listening, go and share your love with someone, and stay TRUE to yourself!

**Update....two of our books are published now and are on Lulu.com for all to read... check it out! Not for the light reader, it is full of passion and Truth, with raw and emotional language that cuts to the chase of who and what the musicians were sharing and WHO Charlie Freak is! Next week we will be releasing "The Guess Who" album #83 Share the Land!

When there is an X in a wall like this the architects here told us the building had to be demolished! We were devastated because we had many X's throughout the house and then a Wonderful older more seasoned Gentleman told us that we could REINFORCE our house with New beams and repair the walls after the reinforcement was in place.

Some of the work we were able to afford to strengthen the main level, next is to bring those columns up to the second story roof, phase two, but our gofundme has not yielded enough money to keep the workers and materials going, so we have had to stop the work for the time being, sigh, I am trying not to panic. But we are so Grateful for the support we have received thus far. Muchas Gracias!
Love and Light to you all!

Our Animals are finally returning to normal after the scare, they have been really needy and suffer from separation anxiety when one or both of us leave for any time, of course they are also picking up on the anxiety we have been feeling as well. As positive as we are being on the outside the animals sense the underlying stress of it all in us.

**Update to the **update!!
We now have 9 more puppies added to our shelter, they are so freakin adorable and also a full time job, hoping to find some good homes for them when they are able to be adopted! In the mean time I am going to make some creative videos and post them here and maybe youtube. I will make stars out of them and they can help bring in some revenue to support their eating habit! Our Animals actually cost us more than humans in our house to feed! But I can't turn the little beggars away when they just need someone to love them. Life is soooooo precious. My motto is #All Lives Matter

Indio and Her sister Arwin were rescued from the highway where a car had run over Arwin and kept going. I was close by and had seen it happen the little puppy was motionless and I ran out to see if she was dead when her sister Indio ran over whimpering and tried to get her to move, I picked them both up and took them to the vet, Arwin recovered quickly with lots of love and with the help from our incredible Veterinarian who without his support we wouldn't be able to do what we do! The costs here are incredibly affordable, nothing we have had to do with the vet has cost more than 300 pesos which is like 20 dollars! That couldn't happen in Canada or the USA.

This is Legolas and He is about 5 months old, when he was rescued he had Mange pretty bad, and parasites. After treating him for a few months he has almost kicked the mange (it is a problem here in our area, microscopic mites under the skin, it is a really horrific affliction for these little tykes! it is aggressive and has to be treated asap)
Anyway we are a shelter for all those souls who have no where to go and if and when we can we find GOOD homes, or they just join the commune here, we are bursting at the seams with 20 rescued dogs!
I need to sell books to feed my DOGS!!
_ALC7096.jpg
This is what Mange looks like this is on our Toriel who came to us with the first signs of it and within a few days it was spreading everywhere. She is an amazing girl, she allowed me to do all of my necessary nursing for her with out so much as a whimper!
IMG_1597.JPG

Our crew before the Earthquake ,we had 12 and then after the quake there were 21 in total plus 3 rescued cats, and 2 rescued horses.

Strider the horse who wandered into our lives one day with a halter and rope attached to him with many cuts and abrasions and skinny beyond belief...We brought him back to life. Eventually we found his owner and with the state of the rest of his animals we just asked if we could purchase him and for 150 dollars he was no longer going to be abused! HE is only 2 years old!
()
Here is Samwise Gamgee, while driving on the highway we saw someone place this tiny kitten on the roads edge just in front of us a few hundred feet! We stopped and picked her up as the person ran from the ditch. The Mexicans don't like the females in animals, so they usually dump them in favour of the males. WOW. We neuter all of our pets and try to encourage those we encounter to do the same so we can cut down on the unwanted and uncared for animals! Its not rocket science right? And they also have free clinics twice a year for anyone who wants to neuter their animals! Our dogs give us security and the cats give us a rat and mouse and (sadly)a lizard free yard!

Here is Luthien Tinuvial and Legolas who both came to us about the same time, like within a week of each other.
My daughter Sionade had been walking in the evening towards a friends house and thought this little creature was a large toad on the road but low and behold it was Luthien a tiny little darling who was full of ticks and fleas and hungry as a horse! She has become our resident welcoming committee for all of us and she found a way into all the dogs hearts and their food dishes! She is a great playmate for the puppies!

Love to you all
