Introduction
Goodmorning ladies and gentlemen, I wanna thank you for giving me this opportunity to share a little bit about myself and my plan with steem.
My name is Luis Lizama Garcia, I am a Lance Corporal in the Marine Corps reserves, currently stationed in Wilmington, Delaware. I am 19 years old. As of the Fall of 2017, I will be attending the University of Delaware to pursue a degree in Physics, and a minor in electrical and computer engineering. I have written an article on steem previously that explains the reasons why I am passionate about my journey.
Throughout my life, I had always considered myself to be a deep thinker. A philosopher of sorts. I would get lost and delve into the mysteries of humanity and the universe for as long as my mind and imagination could take me. These experiences or manifestations of curiosity would one day usher in an era of passion and love for physics. Why Physics? Because it gives me the opportunity to be my own detective, and the criminal was the universe, for she hides many secrets. I'm sorry, but I am a dreamer, and I love it. During my high school years, I had worked with a professor from John Hopkins APL through an internship program called, Independent Research Gifted and Talented Program. The end result of this program would be publishing a book on Amazon about my theory, called The Great Hypothesis.
Let's talk about my goals in college
Instead of writing a narrative, I’m going to save some time and write out a list of my goals for the next two years.
Freshmen Year
- Continue to develop my website. Projectonasi.com
- Grow an adequate support group on steem.
- Publish my “first” book called, The Book of Lucious.
- Develop my poetry skills.
- Seek out the guidance of at least one professor formally, to aid me in my theory.
Sophomore Year
- Developed a blueprint on a device or mechanism that can detect the difference in virtual particle production in relation to the * warping of space.
- Develop a paper that ties my theory and my intent for the device.
- Continue the Marine Corps Officer Program.

The reasons leading me here to steem, are few in all true honesty. I grew up in the United States as a very poor immigrant. My mother and I, would live in many basements and run down neighborhoods for most of childhood. My mother would leave me home alone for most of the day, as she had to keep two jobs just to feed us two. It wasn’t until my teen years, after many years of hard work, that my family would eventually find financial stability and settle down in the town of Columbia. I knew off the bat that sending me to college would be a financial nightmare for my family. So I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps reserves, and after a year of training, I sought out to find a way to raise enough money to send me to school. After a few months of investing in Bitcoin and other altcoins, I ran into an article that explained the community of steem. I was truly interested. To be able to connect to many like-minded individuals, was an opportunity I could not pass up. All I can really say to the reader is that, I am a kid that just wants to change the world one day. It may seem cheesy, but like I had said before,“no man in the history of mankind has ever accomplished much by simply doing the norm. In order for fulfillment of our visions one has to aim where our wildest dreams can't conceive of, and reach out into the endless void, a place where our ancestors have always feared”.
