I am sorry D, this was as much a shock for you as it was for me. Come, let's go inform your parents".

I think you let off easily here. One minute he's extremely angry and the next he's as calm as a teddy on a couch. Wasn't he still rather pissed about the idea of another moon creature appearing and threatening to take his wife? Or was he getting used to seeing glowing creatures? Well, full moon's a month away. I'm young, so I suppose i haven't gotten to that level of emotional control yet. But it wasn't relatable to me, in a way. still reading.

So I read the next paragraph following and it cleared a lot of things. Ehen, na now you come. He ought to be super scared about this, whether he's Schwarzenegger of Chicken Joe. Totally relatable. I guess it's not right to lose your calm in front of a lady, especially the one you promised to protect with your life in part 2 of the story. 😁 full moon's now down to 2 weeks away. still reading

"It means you have the ability shape-shift and transform into a wolf.

Okay, I gotta admit. The third paragraph was totally unexpected, in a good way. Makes it pretty clear they were both made for each other. Like Disney's the incredibles sorta family. And that Richard isn't about to let go without a fight. Lol. How come he never knew about this all along, I wonder.

Good read dear, as always.

Lol! @pangoli! Thanks a gazillion for this. It's the most honest review i have gotten since i began the story and I appreciate it.

As regards Richard switching from anger to relative calm...You've gotta realize he has had to deal with a lot; the Thompson's idiosyncrasies about their daughter coupled with the fact that his fiancee might not be totally normal/human. He is the quintessential gentleman, fearless but reasonable. He was scared and angry by Lucinda's announcement but when he realised his girl was just as shaken too, he focused on her as opposed to focusing on his own emotions so yes, he calmed down there. It didn't mean he was all calm inside as you obviously noticed when he spoke to his Mum.
