Layout of the content of the short story book.

I am formatting and layout the content of the short story book that I have been creating.

I was a bit surprised to notice that there are almost 70 short stories ... and I have many more in draft!

I think it was a writer from centuries past who said something very pertinent to a situation like this. When one of his friends asked him if he did not think that his writings were long, he replied "And I have had to abbreviate, because there was still a lot of ink in my pen and inkwell."

I can apply this phrase to my current case. I feel capable of continuing to create, in fact I have loose drafts for other stories, but I have to stop and set a goal of reaching 200 pages of content. I already have stories to cover the 200 pages, so I'm not going to keep adding to the book.

It occurs to me that I can resort to a simple solution, give the book a numbering or a subtitle indicating that it is a volume of a larger collection.

That might be a good idea, so every time I put together another 200 pages I can release a new volume.

If you have suggestions, you can make them in the comments. I would like to have opinions about my ideas.

I was certainly surprised when I noticed that I had done the compilation in a couple of weeks. But I was surprised when I noticed that I still have many drafts.

Thanks for following me, I hope that when I finish editing the book it will be to the liking of the readers.
