Haeph is a gifted young healer who practices the art of Restoration in the name of the Mother of Mercy. And while his talent in healing has saved the lives of hundreds, there is something unusual about the restorative magic he uses - something none of the other acolytes possess.
Haeph is a man of few words, and is especially secretive of this past. If asked, he will only say he comes from "a land far away". While not unfriendly, he rarely socializes with other acolytes, much less strangers and outsiders.
A perceptive onlooker would notice that he never practices his healing without wearing a peculiar diadem made of tiny bones - an item totally irrelevant with the ways of the Mother of Mercy. If asked, he will say it is "nothing but a small keepsake of his home".
Plot Hook:
During a time of crisis (a natural disaster or sickness outbreak, for example), Haeph's bone diadem gets stolen. This, for some mysterious reason, severely hampers his healing abilities. Moreover, the normally composed Haeph becomes uncharacteristically agitated.
Reluctant to trust strangers, but even more so to put the lives of his patients in peril, he asks a party of adventurers to recover his bone diadem, and fast: in a situation as dire as this, every minute counts.
