A First Tinder Date.I wrote a story several days ago, about a soldier coming home from Vietnam. I had this contest in mind. Since then, I've been tempted back to the keyboard with a prompt by @themarkymark:
I couldn't decide which story to enter. The Tinder story is the more recent, and also the more improbable (for me), so I decided to enter that one in the contest. Here it is: Writing Prompts Contest, Week #2: A First Tinder Date.
Thanks so much for running this contest. It's hard to put a story up cold, without any context. A contest provides incentive, and context.
Your story is very original, we liked how you managed to explain the background of the protagonist. Well done. We have a first place for you!
You made me so happy! Thank you. I love to write, and you offer me an audience. And a prize to boot. I'm very grateful. It's nice to be part of an art community.
We are doing what we can :), and we hope to continue to do so, thanks to people like you we are growing as a community.
I will increase my support and continue to participate. Thank you again.
This is a short story I wrote as part of a cumulative effort between 10 writers, each of us writing our chapter. In this scenario, I wrote part 2 after another writer started the storyline. Part 1 is linked in the story too.

A creative way to continue with a grotesque and mysterious story! Great job, you've earned the second place.
Thanks for reading my story and giving it some recognition! I appreciate the upvote as well. They were all good stories listed here, tough time chosing! It's a lot of work curating, us humble writers are thankful that you care enough to do it.
Yes, it was difficult, but it was worth it, and thank you for valuing our curation work.
Hello, @celfmagazine and @sndbox.
I write fiction about real things which can be translated into fantasy and/or myths, and other crafts of the mind.
In this opportunity, the story was inspired by an abandoned house; I took the picture three days ago.
My story is about a woman who is either schizophrenic or dead, or both. The idea came to me as I considered if insane people also made insane ghosts.
Here's for your consideration: Notes in a Little Red Book
Good luck to all participants! :)
Very immersive and intriguing... What will be in the missing pages of the red book? Thank you for participating, you've won third place!
Hello!
Last week, I had written a short story, Sophie in Stockholm, for a writing contest whose prompt was tension. I decided to take it as both physical and emotional, and so the plot I came up with involved a kidnapping situation and some insight on the famous Stockholm syndrome. This week, the prompt given for the same writing contest was your first Tinder date. A plot started building in my mind, and it turned out to be a sequel for the previous storyline. That is the short story I'm sharing with you today, Mike the loner.
I hope you enjoy the read!

Because this is also a team up between @celfmagazine and @sndbox, I had to share WeWrite by the @FreeWriteHouse. We have find to another writer and together write a story. The given prompt was , @ireenchew and I teamed up. I wrote the first half and she picked up from where I stopped and wrote for another 5 minutes. Hope you like the story 😊 https://steemit.com/freewrite/@kaerpediem/wewrite-or-the-boxer

Greetings I think this post will be very funny, it's those nicknames that we put to our teachers when we study and the strange and funny things that happen to us throughout our studies. Hopefully they take a smile with those memories of school, enjoy it.Grateful with this initiative of @celfmagazine and @sndbox, very generous with the support of the community.

I don't want to spoil you, so to keep it simple, this is an adventure where we get to experience a whole new world for the first time. As everything new, it may feel scary at first; but there's always that one thing that gives us courage to embrace new adventures.
Here it is: I am
Muy buenas! Espero llegar a tiempo...
Puesto que mi historia está escrita en castellano la comento en este idioma. Es un microrrelato de terror (podríamos decir fantástico) que escribí para el #microterror256, una chica despierta en la incertidumbre en medio de un bosque, algo la llama...
