Agreed, however those are rather advanced concepts.
For style... the best one can do is write as one speaks. Part of why I highly recommend overlaying heavy editing work over speech recognition.
Everyone has a personality, and in writing, that virtually always shines through. Not a massive issue for most people.
As far as storytelling... it's such a massive topic that I'll have to write an entire article on the basics of it.
Especially important when the goal is to persuade and influence people.
I'm not sure about giving your writing a 'story tone' by itself. That seems like it would be a rather... limited approach to this.
Instead, I would actually opt for a short story that encapsulates the emotional values you'd want to communicate.
It's also great for playing on people's biases. Everyone loves to blame corporations :^)
