I should have figured that you would have your story on April Fools Day be true. Harder to see that coming. :)
I think this story is false. You mentioned they asked what size waist you had, then later you said that the man's arm was bigger than your thigh. It's clever though, because I googled the man and he did die in 1993 and had represented Britain in the '72 Olympics.
