School and success

Lets talk about school dropouts today.
.
It's true Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, Tory Burch, Michael Jordan and many of the World's most successful billionaires today either dropped out from school or didn't even go to school at all. images(4).jpg

Its cool to make these guys your role model(s) but becomes bad when you make their story depict your perception of reality. The earlier you realise that you are YOU and not Bill Gates, the better for you.
.
Don't drop out from school because Zuckerberg did and became successful. Its cool to get inspired by his success story but that doesn't mean everything that worked for him would work for you, you a different dude/ lady.
.
Its true school doesn't determine success, but it's cool to know what you really want and do it. Don't do something because someone else did it. Remember there are also successful people out there you probably don't know about who are graduates, and also many who dropped out and ended up being unsuccessful.
.
If you choose to drop out, have goals and dreams you want to chase, and then have plans for these dreams.

Do not drop out and stay idle or roam aimlessly on streets.

Nice
School is essential that can afford monetary wise and psychologically
You don't attend because some attended, or drop out because your model did
Those who are opportuned too should not stop learning at the class level, else they end up working for those who dropped out but learnt after schooling
Those who didn't go at all or dropped out, if they build themselves and develop their talents/skills like Mark Zuckerberg did and many others, they will be successful, but if they just sit back and keep saying those that dropped out too are successful, they will regret their life decisions all their life

Find what you are good at, build yourself on it
Get exposed
And if you can get formal education, if you have interest in it, do; but your mind can't go with it
Just build yourself more and explore

Wow! Great contribution here. I appreciate. You said my mind.

Don't forget Einstein!

Anyway. I did not drop out of university because I would think it's "cool." After two years of giving it my all, I realized I cannot force myself to go in that direction any longer.

For most people, successfuly finishing school is the best possible path in their life. For others, school can become a prison instead of a place to grow.

Yea exactly. Everyone should know what works for them and follow the path. Thanks for sharing your experience and thoughts.

I didn't know all of these people dropped out or didn't go at all! I've actually never been to school/college ever (I was homeschooled my whole life) So its always nice to hear story's of successful doing things differently but I do agree with you that if someone is already in college that shouldn't just drop out without any idea of what to do after words!

Wow! Homeschooled? Sounds nice. Thanks for sharing your thoughts

They are enrolled at the first place with outstanding qualification. They know they can be back anytime and they have the direction and guts enough to not finishing the school.
Whereas for some of us, we might misinterpret as school is a waste of time. Gotta get things right.

Exactly my point. Thanks for your contribution

Oh, really true: school success does not predict success in life! Well said!

Yea exactly. Thank you.

Wow. Thank you.

What about Babe Ruth? Actually, I don't know for sure if he did drop out of school. Lol.

True words right here and solid advice. :)

I dont know who Babe Ruth is. What does she do? Anyway, thanks for dropping by, and commending my post.

I think of that everyday. And I conclude: I'll not be a school dropout, and I'll succeed in this life

Yea bro. They are various ways to success! Find yours and chase it.

well said ;) if you find something you love, work for it, it doesn’t have to be at school, there are many other options

Yea, exactly my point. Thanks for dropping by.

very on point!

Thank you so much

it's true... many people hope they're like those geniuses but we need to be aware that these people are talented and gifted by nature ... we just gotta be realistic at times @udochi

Yea exactly. Everyone just has to know what works for him/her, and follow it.
