Ever wanted to be someone in life but always fall short because you think you are not good enough? Ever wanted to be a writer, a footballer or a musician but every time you kick start your ambitions you crumble down faster than you thought?
It happens to most people who want a different path from what they are currently doing. You may be an IT assistant somewhere but deep inside your heart you know you’ll make a difference on earth if you were a writer. You try writing a few times after work but then lose enthusiasm.
“Maybe I’m not good enough…”
“Maybe I just wasn’t born to be a writer…”
Such negative thoughts often kill your ambitions and desires to pursue your passion, but not that deep inner voice that says otherwise.
It’s hard to pursue your passion especially when you are just starting out and are not so good in it. Or when you don’t seem to get immediate results (in form of likes, upvotes, comments or money)
It’s a tough world but what if I told there’s something you can do to keep your energy up for longer.
Yes, it’s possible to maintain that tempo by just declaring what you want to be and then start acting like it. If you want to be a writer then declare it today and Say: “I’m a writer”
And then start acting like it.
And what do writers do?
They write everyday whether it rains or shines. And that's what you should do. Every day no matter what, pen down a few lines. Doesn’t matter whether it’s 100 words or 1000. Just keep writing. You could even make yourself a business card that says ‘freelance writer’ and dish it out if possible.
Believe and act like it and you’ll start to see growth and improvement in your efforts.
