It has been crazy the past couple of months and I didn't have the time to hop on Hive as much as I wanted to. I've always had HIVE at the back of my head even when I was busy grinding on other side of the crypto space, the NFT world. So what went down that took up most of my time?
Earlier this year, a friend of mine approached me and invited me into his NFT team. They were just starting out an NFT project called FloppyNFT. During this time, the NFT space was buzzing and I wanted to try something new, apart from selling my own personal NFT collection. I joined the team and just a few days later, our NFT project went viral. LIKE realllyyyy viral and it was one of the top projects in the space. People were banging on our doors to get in early into our project. NFT KOLs/Influencers were asking for whitelist spots for their community and giveaways so they could get first dips on when we launch our NFT mint. Everything from then on took me on a rollercoaster ride for 5 weeks straight until M-day, the mint day.
Cutting the whole story short, we managed to mint out a 10,000 supply of generative PFP NFT at the price of 0.07 eth each. It was a HUGE success and for all those sleepless 5 weeks nights, I'd say it was worth it. Would I do it again? Probably not... It burnt out my entire team including myself but the real grind didn't stop there. We were not like any other rugpull projects out there, we wanted to put our creator/founder first and to make our project an art-centric one. Instead of all those token staking and such that many other NFT projects were coming up with, we saw the lack of art centric NFT project who would truly build art itself. Our roadmap was ambitious. We promised a webseries animation, webcomics, artbook collectibles, designer's toy figurine, seasonal merch and many more! The grind just started.
Fast forwarding to present day, my team and I are still maintaining the FloppyNFT community as well as trying to deliver every part of our promised roadmap. We were trying to build an art centric brand that's bigger than just being 'just another NFT project'. Hence, this is where I'm at now.
I miss HIVE and the lovely people here. I plan to continue updating my HIVE blog when I get some time off. Furthermore, HIVE was where all these began.
Wonderful to hear your success, the top little blue guy looks like a Smurf thought I'd mention that 😀, congratulations on the success, any project drains one putting your all in.
Hive always a great place to continue building, will have to look into your projects I must admit I have not, have a great day!

Hola zord189 Felicitaciones por tu proyecto! Se ve muy genial gracias por compartir tu experiencia. Yo también hice algunas practicas para hacer mi propia colección y de casualidad hoy publique algo relacionado!
