Looking for serenity
I think we all are
Longing for tranquility
Quite often in a bar
Longing for the touch of calmness
In the hope of being soothed
All we do is touch soft bodies
End up aching and confused
In the dirt of the existence
Try to breathe but throat's like spines
There's even no more resistance
Try you may but the world don't give no dimes.
Good job on the musing style used in this poem, I too am one that enjoys moments of serenity, which often escapes us. Thank you for your entry @incomprehensibl3
