RE: 2018 WW3 Update. The overthrow of Turkey begins

in #ww37 years ago

in addition to ww3 try tags: "russia" "war" "syria" "turkey"
Also, have a .txt file where you can cut and paste your YouTube address, as well as a little branding message. If you're going to double down on digital presence, take every advantage you can. Tag priority on Steemit descends from #1 to #5. While Turkey, Syria or Kurds might be more applicable due to their prominence within the presentation; most people will be searching for "russia" because it is making the MSM. Don't capitalize or include the quotation marks.
Just for example: by changing my primary tag from "gaming" to "fallout4" to "screenshots" and eventually to "wallpaper" yielded increasing results. "wallpaper" as my first tag on Steemit ended up the clear winner.

Sort:

The Steemit algorithm looks for 5 tags max. The first tag should be a genre tag most relevant to the post. Each following tag should be narrow enough to be descriptive, but broad enough to have search appeal. Take a look at the top trending tags to get a feel for which popular genre tag best fits your post.

Abuse of the tagging system is monitored a group steemcleaners.org. I believe the Steemit username is: steemcleaners. You can also appeal to steemcleaners.org if you feel that your content has been plagiarized. https://steemit.com/tags
