Hello Steemit Friends and Pro Wrestling Marks!
If you're as into professional wrestling as I am, then I'm sure you like to stay up to date with WWE/Indy Scene news.
If you're as busy as I am, then I'm sure you don't have time to constantly search news websites and read articles to stay up to date with all the goings on in the world of professional wrestling.
My alternative to news websites are wrestling podcasts.
I find that I can listen to them while doing other activities which saves me the time and effort of searching for the news/opinions I want to hear.
There are 5 wrestling podcasts that I listen to on a weekly basis.
I am going to list them in order of what i consider to be the least to most entertaining.
#5 Art of Wrestling
-The Art of Wrestling podcast is hosted by independent wrestler Colt Cabana. He host the show from his studio apartment in Chicago, IL. His show features guest, often his friends and fellow independent wrestlers. He gives a pretty decent interview and has some pretty big name guest on his show. His biggest guest was probably CM Punk during the controversial period of his career ending with WWE.
#4 GOIN IN RAW(with Steve and Larson)
-Going In Raw with Steve and Larson is a fairly new addition to my podcast playlist. I've watched their videos on YouTube for sometime now, but as I have been spending less time on my computer as of late, I've been listening to their podcast on the go. They are a great news source and share their opinions on just about every story they touch on. They are two best buds who love wrestling and love talking about wrestling, and as someone who also loves wrestling I get my fair share of entertainment from listening to them.
#3 Ring Rust Radio
-RRR is definitely one of my favorite podcasts. The crew of guys is a hysterical bunch. They all act like they hate each other, even though you can tell they're the best of friends. They disagree a lot about what they personally like to see in wrestling shows/matches/etc., but that makes for great discussion and entertainment. The have great segments like, Smarks Say The Darndest Things, where they read comments made by angry wrestling fans following ppv events.
#2 Something To Wrestle With Bruce Pritchard
-This show as great as it is has to come in at #2. Ive been to the Bruce Pritchard live show in St. Louis, and have written a review you should check out. https://steemit.com/review/@mrmime/wwe-money-in-the-bank-2017-review
The show is full of dad humor and old school wrestling stories. Bruce worked behind the scenes and as talent back in the late 80's and early 90's, and is still involved in the wrestling business today. He is full of never before heard stories and first hand knowledge, and that is what makes this podcast a must listen every week. Hell, go back and listen to the archives as well, because every episode is a gem.
#1 Sam Robert's Wrestling Podcast
-NotSam is the last professional broadcaster, and a frequent guest on the WWE preshows for PPV's now. His show comes in at #1 for multiple reasons. First is that his quality of guest is top of the line. He always has the must hear interviews with the big name stars, whether they be in the WWE or on the indy scene. Second, his breakdown of each weeks shows, both RAW and Smackdown, is like no other. He not only breaks it down, but he offers solutions and changes that more often then not end up happening. He said this would be Jinder Mahal's year back when Jinder Mahal was just a jobber, and now he is champion. I don't know if he has inside information or if he is just a visionary, but his show is absolutely phenomenal.
