RE: Welcome to Steemit!

in #wwe7 years ago

Welcome to steemit cryptodj - I think Johnny Glitter is going to be one of my new favourite indie wrestlers to follow.

We've got a bit in common, I'm a massive wrestling fan, I host a half hour weekly radio show on a community radio station in London, UK. Its wrestling based, but it's also music heavy. So I mostly play wrestling related songs, sung by wrestlers, songs about wrestlers, entrance themes and I also lay wrestling promos over beats which has some poetic results.
It works though, seeing as the focus is radio, and the beautiful thing about it is, it isn't a show that just caters to wrestling fans, anyone can enjoy it.

I'm a massive WWE fan, I watch some English Indies, dabble in New Japan, ROH and PWG. But due to time constraints I mostly only follow WWE religiously.

I do love crypto too... It's something that offers reasons to be optimistic.

It will change the world

Welcome once again to Steemit Johnny Glitter.....

Hi Tatta,

Thanks for the great response, thats amazing you work with the radio would love to do a interview on it, I am a second generation wrestler and run and operate a professional wrestling training center in Scranton, PA in the United States we do shows every WWE PPV before we have are free showing of the PPV, The Back Breakers Professional Wrestling Training Center is where we teach students the art of wrestling managing and Referee. We work very closely with WWE, and send a lot of guys there way for dark matches and try outs and the indys around us such as ROH and New japan, growing up and seeing my father work very close with Vince Sr. and Vince Jr. I sat and watched the shows with Shane and Steph as they were kids too. If you are interested in learning more would love to get involved with a fellow Steemeian let me know I can send some contact info! Keep up the great work with the Radio and pushing something you love ( music & pro wrestling)

Yes Johnny

My show is mostly music based but I have done a couple of interviews in the past. And I'm happy to interview anyone that wants to come on.
I prefer to do interviews in person, You are in the United States, I am in the UK which obviously makes that a little bit harder.
Although I am lucky enough to be attending my second wrestlemania in a row this year, so if by any long shot you manage to find yourself in New Orleans this year please do let me know.
If not, I'm sure we can work something out.
I'm be sure to give you and the back breakers training center a shout out on this weeks show,

I'm actually giving steemit a shoutout on the radio this week as we're trying to raise money for the station and I think steemit is a nice free way to do it, if the wider mainstream community started to get into it. It will take time - but we will persevere....

It's mad how I come on steemit and find so many like minded individuals... although there are alot of copy and pasters here ..... It's an absolute minefield
