How I Would Book WrestleMania 35! (Part Two).jpg

(note: this is part two of my fantasy booking! Read part one before proceeding!: https://steemit.com/wwe/@trentjm27/how-i-would-book-wrestlemania-35-part-one)

Tables Match
AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton
Winner: AJ Styles
Now this match was a bit difficult for me to decide on. I think it needs a stipulation to add to the intensity of the feud. On one hand, Randy Orton is a WWE veteran, forever cementing his place in the history of this company. A victory for him at the 35th WrestleMania would be a fantastic way for WWE to show their gratitude for him and his loyalty to the company. BUT. I've decided to choose AJ Styles to take the W instead. Why?... the WWE 2K19 Million Dollar Challenge. That's right, did everyone forgot about this? AJ Styles is on the cover art for WWE 2K19 and is the final opponent in the video game's Million Dollar Challenge tournament, the finale of which will take place on NXT TakeOver: New York's Pre-Show. With all this in mind, being the cover star and a central focus of this tournament, I believe AJ will nudge out a victory on the grandest stage of them all. It's an odd way to make a decision on a match, but this and considering AJ is a fantastic star capable of drawing crowds and making highlights, I think he should praised as much.

Fatal Four-Way Tag Team Match for Woman's Tag Team Championships
Woman's Tag Team Champions, Sasha Banks & Bayley: The Boss 'n' Hug Connection vs. Nia Jax & Tamina Snuka: The Samoan Slaughterhouse vs. Billie Kay & Peyton Royce: The IIconics vs. Beth Phoenix & Natalya: The Divas of Doom.
Winners: The Boss 'n' Hug Connection
I didn't come up with any of these tag team names, I swear! Check out some wwe.com articles referencing them, I swear these are their actual team names! Anyway, I'm quite intrigued by this match. Not just because Beth Phoenix is returning to in-ring action, but because WWE have the chance to make or break this practically new division of Woman's Tag Teams. I believe Nia and Tamina should do as their team name suggests, slaughter the competition. Then allow Beth to be the same dominate force she was in her prime, get her to ruin Nia and Tamina and create opportunities for everyone else. After the Samoan's carnage, have both other non-champion teams come inches away from capturing the gold! The IIconics can throw Beth out the ring and pin a prone Bayley for a 2 and half count. Later on, have Natalya lock one of The IIconics in a Sharpshooter and have it only just broken up. Give every team some spotlight, then let Sasha and Bayley use their well known in-ring skills to bring it back.

Drew McIntyre vs. Roman Reigns
Winner: Roman Reigns
Now... I have a lot of opinions on this match. I understand that Roman should win because of his recent return, his momentum is through the roof right now and he's probably in peek physical condition. So I have a way of booking this that will hopefully allow Roman to prevail but still give Drew the edge going forward. If we're assuming Dean Ambrose is gone after being destroyed by Drew in the Last Man Standing match on RAW, allow Roman to defeat Drew here by the skin of his teeth. Have Drew kick out just after three and be livid with the ref. Afterwards, Drew decimates Roman and leaves him in a similar manor to the way WrestleMania ended last year. Let Drew be the proper Scottish Psychopath he proclaims to be. Make Drew demand a rematch at either Backlash or the currently unnamed Saudi Arabia show, both planned to take place in May. Allow Drew to beat Roman in the rematch, then go on ahead to challenge Seth Rollins for the Universal title with the mocking line of "I destroyed both of your brothers. You're next." (whoops... spoilers for what's to come!)

Kurt Angle's Last Match in WWE
Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin
Winner: Kurt Angle
I've had a long thought about my ideal outcome to this situation... so here it is: Baron Corbin enters in actual wrestling gear, looks like he's hell serious and cocky, ready to take out the gold medalist in his final match. Kurt's music begins, but he's flanked by several men waving American flags, his family (even Jason Jordan) come out to the entrance ramp and all hug him before he heads down to the ring. He enters the ring, the match begins and he destroys Corbin! Make it a proper squash, 2 minutes flat. Kurt Angle wins! He celebrates in the ring, everyone's cheering "thank you Kurt!", it starts getting emotional. Then.. the lights go out... people are all making a commotion, who could it be?

BA DA DA DAAAAAAAAAAAA
YOUR TIME IS UP, MY TIME IS NOW!
John Cena makes his way to the ring. It's the match everyone wanted, but not only that! Cena grabs a mic, cuts an emotional promo about their history, his debut and the start of the Ruthless Aggression era. John then demands he face Kurt in a match both of them excel at: a submission match! Who will prevail? John Cena and the STF or Kurt Angle and the Ankle Lock?

Submission Match, Kurt Angle's Actual Last Match in WWE
Kurt Angle vs. John Cena
Winner: Kurt Angle
It shouldn't end any other way. Kurt Angle makes the historic moment of forcing super-Cena to tap out at WrestleMania! A fairytail ending and a proper send off for Kurt! Get streamers and fireworks and everything else you need! Make it a proper celebration!

Universal Championship Match
Universal Champion Brock Lesnar (with Paul Heyman) vs. Seth Rollins
Winner: And new Universal Champion, Seth Rollins
Regardless of the Universal title main eventing last year's Mania, I feel as if most the other matches have more weight to their stipulations. Although I guess the pending outcome of 'will Brock ruin WWE for much longer' is rather important. Still. I wouldn't make this match the second to last, the WWE Championship outright deserves that spot. So here we have Seth Rollins, flanked by fire and fanfare, ready to take the Universal title back from Brock's grasp. We've seen how smaller built wrestlers like AJ and Finn have dealt with Brock, using the method of attacking Brock's previously injured spots would work well for Seth, but obviously, let Brock get some offense in. Nowhere near the amount compared to previous bouts, though. Maybe Brock hits 3 or 4 F5's, then he lock in the Kimura Lock. Seth gets out of it and Curb Stomp's him. Of course we need a ref bump or something to increase the intensity. Make Paul pass Brock the title, but let Seth knock Paul off the apron. Let him get his comeuppance! As Brock attempts to hit Seth with the title, deeming it necessary after being hit too many times in his injured areas. Seth ducks, kicks Brock in the knee, Curb Stomp on the title, Brock bleeds! He's proper gone! 1... 2... 3! Seth wins! By slightly dodgy means, yes, but it's Paul and Brock's attempt at using the title as a weapon which lead to their downfall! Seth Rollins is the new Universal Champion! Later on, he can be challenged by the likes of Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman and... you guessed it, Drew McIntyre!

No Holds Barred Match, if Triple H loses, his career is over
Triple H vs. Batista
Winner: Batista
Yep. You read that right. Everyone believes this match will be the most predicable, because no thinks Triple H will retire. But to be honest... what else is there for the King of Kings to do? Why should he continue wrestling when he's already got such a storied career? There's literally nothing else for him to do in the ring, so retiring on the grandest stage like Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels before him would be a fitting end. I can't think of any other circumstance in which Triple H could retire from the ring. On top of that, I think it would work well with the theme I want implemented into this match: a Marvel cameo! Have Batista enter first with attire designed after his character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Drax the Destroyer, as well as prop weapons. Next, Hunter. We all know Triple H loves dressing up for the big stage, so he could enter in Thanos inspired armor, as well with a similar deathly theme Thanos had in Infinity War that transitions into The Game. Since Endgame releases later this month, having this cross promotion branding as well as Dave Batista winning the match could be a good booster for WWE as well as Marvel, almost hinting at the result of Endgame at the same time: the defeat of Thanos, or in WWE's case, Triple H. The retirement of both Kurt Angle and Triple H in one night may be excessive, but with this, the aftermath of Mania 35 can truly mark the beginning of a new era.

WWE Championship Match
WWE Champion Daniel Bryan (with Rowan & Harper) vs. Kofi Kingston (with Xavier Woods & Big E)
Winner: And new WWE Champion, Kofi Kingston
I mean... come on! This is perfect set-up for the man known as Kofi Kingston! This is his one true opportunity to achieve what people thought was impossible for him! The story has played out perfectly, all WWE have to do is give Kofi the championship! As a side note, I think it would be cool for Harper to return and stand alongside Rowan and Bryan, make the playing field even. Have them and the New Day at ringside, allow the New Day to bring up the morale and the hype after Hunter retiring (in a similar manor of having Seth win after Kurt retires). I can not stress this enough: LET KOFI KINGSTON WIN THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP! If anyone in the entire locker room deserves it, it's him!

Triple Threat Match for RAW Woman's Championship
RAW Woman's Champion Ronda Rousey vs. SmackDown Woman's Champion Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch
Winner: And new RAW Woman's Champion, Becky Lynch
I saw RAW. I know the match is now winner takes all. I don't care, I know all they're trying to do is recreate the image of Daniel Bryan holding the WWE Championship and the World Heavyweight Championship on the announcer's table at WrestleMania 30 with Becky Lynch. But I don't care. Why not have Charlotte keep the SmackDown Woman's Championship, shake hands with Becky and Ronda, have an exclusive shot of Sasha Banks and Bayley coming out after the show and have all of the WWE Horsewoman holding their titles at the end of the night! Perfect! Then, possibly set up the WWE 4-Horsewoman vs. MMA 4-Horsewoman match before Ronda leaves to start a family. It's all right there, ready to be made! The story is ripe for woman to headline and OWN WrestleMania and beyond! This is the outcome that needs to happen.

There we go! All finished! Now, time to watch the event itself and see none of these happen! I hope you've enjoyed reading this and will enjoy reading WrestleMania even more!
