It's September! Why does it feel like Wrestlemania season?

in #wwe7 years ago (edited)

Over the last few years WWE has given us a less than stellar post-Summerslam season, story lines start picking up only in January heading towards the Royal Rumble. This year thought WWE has stepped up leading to No Mercy and Hell in the Cell PPVs.

Here's bringing you the top 5 story lines in WWE right now...

Honorable Mention : The return of Charlotte Flair

Weather it's on Smackdown or Raw all women have a connect with each other and can story tell just as well if not better than the men on the roster.

Flair is all set to lead the next generation of women in WWE, It was amazing to see Smackdown ending with Flair in tears after an in ring return and win after having spent the last 6 weeks with her dad, Ric Flair. Flair is like that beacon in the women's division, everything can be built around her. Just like her dad before her, her legacy is waiting to happen.

#5. Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins as Tag Champions

Ambrose and Rollins have that chemistry, the DX level chemistry, the antics, the bouts and the overall presentation is entertaining.

At first I felt WWE had nothing else to do with them so has paired them together, while this could have been the case it's paid off. It's one of the story lines I look forward to seeing on Monday Nights. The matches are a good ride and they got perfect opponents. This can go many places depending on how it's built, Shield Reunion, Mega Feud between Dean and Seth, Roman Getting a partner and challenging them. We got a lot of possibilities.

#4. Usos vs New Day

Two more tag teams make this list in the form of an awesome feud, this feud started to really kick off with the Rap Battle, that rap battle put character around the Usos which was missing for a long time. They are officially bad boys and we like edgy characters.

The New Day as entertaining as they are, were starting to get stale. With this feud it gives us a different side of them to see, a side where they have found their match and can be beaten. This one will not get old soon and is entertaining enough to have the fans behind it for a long time.

#3. Kevin Owens vs The McMahons

Kevin Owens is going to the moon, that's what I felt after watching the Las Vegas episode of Smackdown. However the only reason this is not No 1 on our list right now is that they did not follow up on the momentum. It reminded me of the time Owens won the universal title with help form HHH and there was no explanation or followup. The hype was lost and the same will happen here if things don't pickup next week on Smackdown.

This feud will still result in making Owens a megastar, expect HHH to get involved and a possible Wrestlemania match for Owens against the Game

#2. Roman Reigns vs John Cena

Reigns will come out on top in this one, it's a passing of the torch feud so to speak. What WWE did brilliantly is take real life aspects like his bad mic skills and drug test fail and put it in a build up. But at the end of the day the fight in him matters, no matter the mic skills or out of the ring abilities, he is better than Cena and has a lot of time to improve in ring. Expect Reigns to come out with a bigger following after this one. I expect Reigns to finally shine over the mic after this one. True shades of the Rock.

#1. Braun Strowman vs Brock Lesnar

This is our no 1 pick for the top feuds right now, Braun Strowman is a made man after this, expect him to be a marquee for years to come, being compared to Lesnar by Heyman in promos is awesome and we believe it.

Expect Him and Reigns to carry the company forward after their feuds with Lesnar and Cena respectively.

So These are our top 5 picks, drop us a comment to tell us which feud do you think is the best feud in WWE right now. Don;t forget to vote and resteem our post.
