Hi guys! I've been using Intel's xeon processor E3 1240 v2 since last 6 months. So now i want to share some pros and cons of this Processor with you. I used this Processor for gaming and rendering.
Xeon E3 1240 v2
Xeon processor is famous for its workstation purpose. You found these processors in workstations. This xeon processor has 4 cores and 8 threads. Frequency 3.4Ghz with upto 3.8Ghz boost. When you compare this Processor with intel i7 3770 you found it very close to i7 in performance.
When it comes to gaming i7 3770 is one step ahead because of its single core speed. My gaming experience with this Processor is good. It performs very well in almost every game. It can handle new titles very well. Here i want to show some benchmark results of e3 1240v2 vs i7 3770.
So here you can see the benchmark results.
Final thoughts
Xeon E3 1240 V2 is best processor in this price range. I bought this Processor for about 6$ used. In almost every task and in every game its usage is about 60 to 70%. I never saw 100% usage of this Processor. So u must try this Processor too. To get its best performance you should have 16 gb of RAM.
