@haejin @baejin hey not on anyone side in the mess but seeing as he upvotes himself with all his steempower to get money is that not the same as bid bots selling votes i mean they sell 200$ worth of votes and get back 200$ sbd so there voting power is not rewarding good content either ive seen some super super trash posts on the trending page because of it-- bid bots and 100% self voting will be the death of steem imo it eas designed to vote on good content and get curator rewards again on no ones side just brining up a disccusion

Most often, they lose money on bid bots. But you bring up a good point. Of course haejin adds into that problem as well. With all of his posts trending, the only way a minnow can break into that arena is to pay. This is an overall problem with steemit.
This is a perfect way to compare @jordan1219444
Does a bot differentiate between good quality and bad quality content? So exactly, what is the difference?
Good point mate.
There are several bots (i.e. smartsteem) that will only work with white-listed creators. Other bots have been talking about other ways to flag inappropriate upvote buying as well.
With so many smart developers on Steemit I am sure a long term solution will be found to get rid of spam/low quality posts. This is the growing pains of new technology/platform.
I agree.
There is none there just getting the sbd from elsewhere and making it so that we cant flag it down to make them lose money personally i think both parties are in the wrong and people should just be upvoting good content you still make alot in curator rewards and if this keeps up steem's price could drop to nothing because no one will ever make money posting only the rich selling upvotes and upvoting themselves will win
thumbs up
