A hunter visit his childhood friend in the Northern part of Nigeria, they both went to had lunch in one nearby restaurant, they were served with two pieces of eggs of rare birds that live in the Northern caves together with amala (yam flour).

The eggs were smallest in size than the eggs of guinea fowls, they were delicious dish of a race order and were unlike any other kind of eggs that he usually eat in his village.

One day this hunter decided to go for hunting, he travel far from his friend house into a big forest, he was hunting in lonely forest in the southern part of Nigeria. Quietly unexpectedly, this hunter saw a winding path in the forest, it was a very deep forest, and he decided to see where the path would lead him. Soon, he discovered that the path that he had been followed was leading him directly into the entrance of a cave.

Suddenly he saw two men who were peering at him from a nearby bush. As they started to run away, the hunter beckoned to them to come. They approached him bashfully. Further visits to the same spot laid the foundation for a mutual trust between the hunter and the forest inhabitants. These inhabitants were the Lepeteru tribe of Northern Nigeria, who across the centuries, had lived alone in that forest and had not been in contact with any living person.

They used leaves to cover up their nakedness. They made their own axes and cutlasses from rocks and got their fire from the rays of the sun. One great treasures which they possessed was that they had a special way of whistling to invites animals from the forest to come and play with them. They do not eat the bush animals because they see them part of their families.

But that hunter who first visited them adulterated their primitive tradition. He taught them how to kill the animals and eat their cooked meat. When the Lepeturu inhabitants tasted the meat, they found it good and tasted delicious, so they continued hunting the animals. Now the animals run away when they hear the whistle. It is no longer a friendly whistle but a deadly whistle.

The Lepeteru inhabitants never quarrel among themselves. Competition is unknown. There is a mutual desire among them to elevate the other man rather than for one person to struggle by all means to get to the top. That was a treasure in the forest that took centuries to discover. But, for fear that Western civilization may adulterate the culture of the Lepeteru, the Government of Northern as at that time had taken steps to prevent social interaction between these primitive people and western aculturization.

It has taken hundreds of years to discover this hidden treasure of a new race of men, women and their children. As at the time of discovery of this Lepeteru inhabitants, the tribe numbers only about 29, and still lives in caves.

There are other valuable materials that are hidden in secret places on earth and God may be using these to teach us a great truth. It has been later confirmed by scientists that lights is hidden in every materials within nature - even within rocks, caves, rivers, seas, and trees.

As I writing this blog, it has been discover a great treasure; gold of the earth in that cave where Lepeteru inhabitants lived.

A very great value is not readily available in common places, such valuable things are not readily exposed to the human view, so also the @xpliar imaginary contest picture 2 is hidden from view, you can barely tell what is it.

Sweat and tears must be paid to find the hidden treasures of the earth. More often than not, they are hidden, because they are treasures of great value. This hidden treasures is a deliberate act of Creator (God). We do not know why creator does so. Can you guess some reason?

My view from this blog:

If you are harmless and you have the treasure of love in you, men would flock to you. But the moment you show that you are dangerous and unreliable, men will run away from you.

Thanks for stopping by.
