XYO Network is the first Proof of Location oracle network, helping to decentralise location dependant trade markets. Location data is used all day everyday around the world, from SatNav to delivery tracking and seeing where your UBER driver is, we are all becoming more reliant on location data. In the future there will be even more dependance on this data as self-driving cars, package delivering drones, and the smart cities of the future come online. In case you were wondering XY represents the horizontal and vertical axis on a 2 dimensional plane. XYZ gives depth and shows location in 3 dimensions, XYZT will map the time an object is in a certain space.
The XYO Network makes it possible for smart contracts to access the real world by using the XYO Network's ecosystem of devices to determine if an object is at a specific XY-coordinate. If it is, one can set up applications which execute transactions in the smart contract.
