Yahoo Japan will expected to invest in BitArg Exchange through its foreign exchange trading platform YJFX. However, according to the final results, this investor's confirmation is Z Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Yahoo Japan. According to a statement issued by Yahoo Japan, they have acquired 40% of the stock exchange this time, and the transaction valuation is about 2-3 billion yen (about 1860-27 million US dollars). In addition, Yahoo! Japan is expected to launch BitArg Exchange Tokyo's business operations this fall.
Yahoo Japan stated:
"Through professional service operations and security support of Yahoo Group, we will support BitArgo Exchange Tokyo Stock Exchange operations for cryptocurrency to provide ease of use and security services traders."
Rumors about the acquisition first appeared in March, when Yahoo Japan had stated that it would complete this transaction through the foreign exchange trading platform YJFX.
