The Benefits of Yerba Mate Tea

in #yerbamate7 years ago (edited)

Hey Steem Community,

My name is Dave and I just wanted to share a bit about the tea that I have come to love and appreciate over the last 8 years. It's called "yerba mate" and it's a holly plant native to South America. You can make it just like you would green tea — in an infuser, tea ball, french press, etc — and it has similar effects to green tea, but also provides clean and sustainable mental and physical energy throughout the day, without any crashing commonly associated with coffee.

Below, I've posted some of the health benefits of yerba mate (with real scientific sources):

Yerba Mate Health Benefits

  • Increases wellbeing and Happiness
  • Natural Energizer
  • Relaxes the Muscles
  • Loaded with Antioxidants
  • Decreases Stress
  • Improves Sleep
  • Lowers Blood Pressure
  • Lowers Bad Cholesterol
  • Fights Colon Cancers
  • Helps with Type II Diabetes
  • Help you Lose Weight
  • Boosts Creativity
  • Improves Immune System

Here's a video I posted to offer more information on the health benefits of yerba mate:

Dave
