Shalom. As a Christian for most of my life I have always had a problem with the teaching of the rapture in the church. The fact that Yahweh has always put his people through the difficult path to purify them, to test them (One example: The Israelite's roaming the desert for 40 years). How could this same God, who does not change, put past believers through this test but yet will swoop away the end time believers from the tribulation without any kind of testing. Just could never wrap my head around that. Thank you for your posts and many Blessings to you :)

The 5 wise virgins have for the most part been with Yeshua(Jesus) for a while and have grown close enough to Him in their relationship that that has purified them! The straight out desire to please their Lord and Saviour and cherish Him as the Greatest treasure they have found and in their relationship with Him make this obvious are they who love Him the most and He is after a Bride that loves Him above all. The 5 foolish virgins however have not got Him as their first love and still have a foot in the flesh and seek the lusts of this world before seeking their Lord and Saviour and that is why they must be purified to be made into a worthy Bride! (Revelation 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. ) This is why Paul says to us something people miss which is this, (2Peter 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: Read verses 1-15 for the whole picture) Our examples are His apostles of all the one closest to our Lord is the apostle John and he is the only one that was close enough in his relationship to our Lord that he did not die a martyr's death, they tried to kill him but couldn't as he was so trusting and full of faith in Yeshua that they could not kill him and Yeshua of course had a special place in His heart for John as well giving him instead the words and visions of the book of Revelation. It is our desire for Him which needs to be greater than anything, even life itself! He searches our hearts and this is what He looks for in His Bride. Many are called but few are chosen is not a word in which He speaks of people which are saved but rather it is concerning those who will be counted worthy of being His Bride, those fit to rule by His side. Therefore it is the few that will be chosen for their love for Him exceeds that of all others. God bless you Kim! Remember ensure your election! :)
