When I started doing yoga the hardest part was actually starting to practice everyday. It takes discipline and dedication to practice something everyday. But once you get in a habit of it, you will feel lost without it. You will wonder how you ever lived your life without it!?!
To motivate myself I made a sign and hung it in my kitchen. I would read it to myself multiple times everyday, especially when I was feeling discouraged! The sign said
You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great!
And that is so true it hurts!
Once you start one good habit of health so many other good things will start happening. You will want to eat healthier, you will want to excercise more, you will want to quit smoking, drinking or other bad habits because feeling great becomes an addiction in itself. It is not about how good you are, it is about getting better, not just in yoga but in life!
Bettering yourself will help you to find your passion in life and your will to succeed, which ultimately will lead you to the freedom in life that you have been searching for.
