RE: Yoga 2.0 -- A User Guide for Getting Started

in #yoga8 years ago

Hi @saramiller. This is the first time I get to really know the meaning of yoga... " ANYTHING you do with focus and awareness that can get you to that point is yoga". I found that definition very similar to what people think about Surfing... Surfing isn't just the ability of riding a wave, it is the sensitivity of feeling nature, in particular, the ocean. It is about the life style you want to follow. I did yoga for 1 month recently, once a week.... Geez.... I battled so hard with my mind... my body was ok, but the hardest thing to me was the focus... sadly i left yoga because of job and other things; and reading your post made me think why the heck am I not finding time to look after myself :( ... at least I still get to surf now and then :) Thank you for your post and I am FOLLOWING YOU NOW!

Thank you for taking the time to read, comment, and follow, @wgodinho! I have not yet been fortunate enough to try surfing, but I think I'm going to really love it when I get to the ocean. It seems to complement yoga perfectly. I hope you make your health and wellbeing a priority in life, whether through yoga or some other practice! You deserve it every single day!!!

Thanks for your kind reply :). You will love surf, for sure! Hope you live in the coast to try it out soon. By the way, I had a yoga session today on my own! felt great!
