“出门在外，安全第一！” “出门一定要注意安全啊，听到没！” “晚上不要一个人走夜路，结伴而行！” 这些被父母常常挂在嘴边的话仿佛还回响在耳边。在异国他乡读书的留学生们，父母最担心的就是我们的安全问题。
为了帮助同学们更深入了解英国的法律法规，理性处理各种突发事件，让同学们愉快的度过一个美好的留学时光。约克学联将于11月10日（本周五）下午16:30，在SLB/118 举办“平安留学”及“领保进校园”宣讲会。
本次讲座，约克学联请来了曼城领区中国学生和学者法律援助中心的顾问左甲子。左甲子老师将亲临约克大学和同学面对面交流，并教大家遇到突发事件时，如何向总领馆或英国警方求助的方法。
同时，左甲子老师将在讲座上举例讲解一些历年留学生在国外发生的案件，以及介一些绍领事保护的内容和总领馆开展“领保进校园”工作的有关情况。
为了加强同学们安全意识，提高防范技能，遵守法律法规，约克学联欢迎全体约克大学的留学生们前来参加下周三的留学生平安讲座。
