RE: @Youarehope fundraising for childrens in a venezuela orphanage

I am not against helping people in need, particularly orphanages but I really have to draw a fine line when it comes to people literally starving to death. In one of your post you bought school supplies and books and I just couldn't bring myself to up vote or give one penny to buying a pencil when people are picking through the trash to survive. We know some area's of Venezuela are not as hard hit outside of higher food prices as others. The hardest hit area's food brought in for distribution and stores has to be guarded by the army, a display set outside like yours as depicted wouldn't last one minute in a devastated area where people are literally starving. What I see when I view your pictures is healthy looking men, women and children with a over abundance stacked everywhere compared to many of the pictures coming out of Venezuela. Actually it looks more like the food is set up like a market where something like this is often shown in media descriptions as people who can afford to buy the food are found selling it on the black market for quadruple it's value. Some items even look like the way charity organization package items up being sent to Venezuela. I mean honestly I have to ask myself why would you go buy plastic bags to put this stuff in when the need for food is so great, why would you take money and have a huge banner made, t- shirts and pay to have copies made to slap steemit posters on the boxes when every single penny counts? Then I have to ask myself how is it that you can come up with boxes upon boxes of stuff depicted in these pictures when people can't even get a small stipend CLAP bag handed out by the government to try and survive on? Even people sending stuff to friends and relatives there are told the need is so great that it will more than likely get stolen before it even reaches their family but somehow you come up with box loads of stuff that in the interim of the overall picture of what's going on there doesn't quite quality as needy enough (as presented in your picture) at this time for even one penny from me.
