RE: New Youtube Monetization Changes

in #youtube7 years ago

Yes, can just agree. People should work for their money and get a name themself, then they will also get followers and views in a organic way anyways. Beside that, it makes nearly no sense to monetize before as they would get not much money anyways for it. Probably the administration costs are also too high in this case for Youtube.

I really hope this will help bring back more quality to youtube. The bad thing is, if someone really want, he still can buy subscribers and views, I assume.

Yes I do believe you have to gain a huge amount of views to make anything near decent from being on Youtube. I have had people say they have 1,000s of views per video but are still earning pennies monthly because It's still not enough. Rightly so.
Youtube had been on a slow decline for a while now. And even harder to find decent content. Most of what I see Is clickbait.
I'm hoping Youtube manages to find a way to prevent bought for likes and subscribers, after all, It doesn't buy watch time and viewer base so unless you buy likes on every video you make what Is the point.

I think the point is, that it makes a video more attractive for potential viewer if the video has a lot of views and maybe likes. Something else I can't think about.

Yes, youtube is probably filled more then 60-70% with clickbait probably, and that's a pity.

I didn't think about that actually. Views do attract views. I heard a while ago that Youtube now have ways of knowing where the views come from, same IP Adress maybe? Whether this Is ture or not I don't know.

I don't know where the future of Youtube lies with all of the negativity In recent years which Is why I turned to Steemit and Dtube.

Thanks for taking the time to read and comment :)
