Famous Youtuber Pewdiepie is doing a livestream for charity on Youtube at the moment. While I was watching, he suddenly received a £5.180 donation from a company that we know all too well around here: Dlive.
After Pewdiepie received the donation he gave Dlive a shoutout and even joked that he would be livestreaming there next. I wish that I could share the recording right now, but Youtube streaming doesn't allow me to watch previous parts of the stream until it is finished.
You can still watch the stream here:
The charity that Pewdiepie is fundraising for is called CRY, it's a non-profit that's working towards ending child labour in India.
Here's a link to the fundraiser, where you can also see Dlive's donation:

I don't usually watch Pewdiepie, but I recently started watching some of his videos because of the ongoing subscriber count battle between him and Tseries.
This all just happened 15 minutes ago and thought it was worth sharing, since Dlive is well known around here. It was pretty funny to see them donate over £5k and get a shoutout. I wish Dtube could do something like that...
UPDATE
Since the livestream has finished now, I can share the video clip of when Dlive got a shoutout.
(With timestamp)
Thanks for the hint that the stream is now available as VOD. You are maybe interested in this: https://steemit.com/dlive/@tidos/really-kent-dlive
Ahhh thanks!!! Glad I wasn't the only one who saw it :P
Great of them to make that donation, they deserved the shoutout for it and thanks for telling us about that!
It's a bit of a low-effort article, but I just thought I had to share it :D
That is pretty interesting. I have never watched him before, but nice that he is giving a shoutout to a blockchain based technology even if they aren't on Steem anymore. It is too bad, I was just starting to use Dlive for some game streaming and stuff like that. Then they had to bail...
Yeah I was really enjoying using Dlive too, right before it switched to another blockchain. I'll have to check out Vimm later on, I think.
What???? Guys you maybe misunderstand why he donated there. I worked there 6 Months and does not seen any money from him. Hes only interested in his own things and not for blockchain or anything else or neither kids in india.
I don't think it's a misunderstanding. I enjoyed using Dlive, because it worked better than Dtube.
I do think they're somewhat of a shitty company though, ever since they switched to a different blockchain.
