More of a scare than anything. Nobody ever talks about how much of the ocean is dredged for sand, or how many new islands or land area is being created by lava flows. There are several offsets to ice melt and I think maybe Nasa's numbers might be exagerated just a little (for both $$ and political reasons). Just MHO.
Human activity is to blame for Ice Age also, eventually we'll fine tune to equilibrium... hehe
