RAJ has arrested a woman passenger with 9,650 pieces of Yaba from Rajarbagh area of Shahjahanpur in the capital. The arrested woman named Roksana Akhter (35)
RAB-3 claimed that on March 9, he was arrested in a bus from Green Line Paribahan around 5pm on Friday.
Roksana is the daughter of Insam Uddin Shikdar of the village of Shibchar in Madaripur district. He lived in a house opposite Ashrafabad school in Kamrangirchar area of the capital.
RAB said that Roksana arrived in Dhaka on a luxury bus from Chittagong to Dhaka's luxurious bus. Meanwhile, the search was conducted on the basis of secret information.
After the search, Yabaas were rescued from his baggage. The value of the Yaba seized is about 43 lakh 42 thousand 500 rupees.
Roksana told RAB that initially he had been carrying yaba from Chittagong, Cox's Bazar, Teknaf in Dhaka for a long time.
Law enforcement will be taken against him in this incident, RAB said.
