This House is built from selected wood found deep in the jungle. It ivolves three compenents to creates study constructions , lower foundation (Aki tameh) as the center of the contructions burden, pillars and beams between the pilars as weight absorber from the upper and side part of the house, and the roof frame as platfrms to absorb the weight from the upper flank
Rumoj Aceh Constructly categoryzed as disaster – proof house either from eartquakes, foods and wild animal .Aceh is one og the three in indonsia wich frequently hit by earthquake . Therefore, this type of traditional house suit very well with the acehnsses . This construction does not involve nails – due to use of wood tied by pegs (bajoe) as the foundation . This type of constructions makes the house more resilent, Only caused it to shit frim side to side without having any serious damage to the constructions
Other than that , the construction of this house also use what caled a main knoe , This know is applied near a long bearn on the Roof called bara liteung , The knot can be easily loosen and released whenever a fire occure . when the knots is released , the roof ()made of rumbia Leaves ) will easily fail to the ground , not causing a collateral damage to the another parts of the house
