I really doubt it has the potential of overthrowing steemit at the moment. What the steem blockchain is focused on at the moment is groundbreaking and soon many will see it. After The HF20 and the release of SMT, people (investors) will start flooding the system. It Wouldn't Surprise Me If The Steem Blockchain Surpasses Facebook In Net Worth In The Next 3 Years.
