Introduction
This is my second post using chainBB to post. It's been fun and I had a blast talking with @jesta about all the super cool stuff coming soon for this plaform. I know that right now he's focusing on the desktop wallet but he will shortly come back and give another sprint to this little bomb of a platform. What's new on chainBB? The @zappl is on it!
@steemitqa mentioned in the comment section that it would be nice for Zappl to have it's own forum board. I understand that they have a discord chat and steemit.com to release news...but there is nothing like a community forum to build a community.
So after he said that, I went ahead and started talking with @jesta and within an hour, he had the zappl board on
I'm still very excited about @zappl and I can't wait to start using a mobile app to Zap short micro-blogs multiple times a day.
Every project should have a board on chainBB
If you are working on the development of a project or a new platform on steem, you need to aggregate all the conversations regarding your project in one place and ranked them by the one with the latest comment on it. For that you have to use chainBB.
I've heard that @jesta will be working on adding the ability to add Sticky posts for announcements and other cool stuff. I can't say too much but just be assured that some very interesting developments are coming soon.

At the current moment, my votes give away about $3. So in the comment below, I will be upvoting people who used chainBB to post their comments. I will also be perusing the forum to find people who write comments using it. (in the beer forum and other) Not only are you making money, but you are also helping that way to fund the development of this very promising project.

If so - maske sure to take part in Bobby Lee's poll and vote for STEEM as the currency that should be added to BTCC. The more exchanges we can get supporting Steem, the more options all of us will have to buy or sell Steem :)
I signed up to chainBB about an hour ago, then perusing Steemit as I was, only 5 minutes ago, I saw this post, so I signed back into chainBB, and here I am commenting via this forum.
As I alluded to on a previous comment on chainBB (my first one here) - I don't fully grasp, the no doubt, many use cases and possibilities for this, quite yet, but I can see that they are very promising, and for extra kudos, it's already got a Zappl forum, which is another awesome project that I am really excited about, so count me in!!
Zappl is an exciting project, and it's even better when it can join forces with other developments on the Steem blockchain - such as ChainBB.
As the Steem ecosystem develops, we get closer and closer to the dream scenario: When a content creator can exclusively use Steem services. If you can upload video, micro-blog, macro-blog, and even participate in a web forum all via Steem platforms... why use anything else?
The only benefit Twitter and others have right now is that the "major influencers" are on there. Celebrities are mostly on Facebook, not Steem. But, if the balance tips and enough famous people get onto Steem, it's unstoppable. We already have some big name people on here - just the other day, after reading two books by a great author, I found him on Steemit.

Thanks for posting. I have enjoyed Steemit for the past 9 months. I have been wondering how I will use the other Steemit based blockchain sites like Zappl, and ChainBB.

It's great to see so many apps coming out based on the Steem blockchain. If we can duplicate the basic function of Twitter (especially), Reddit, and Facebook, our community is going to DWARF these older platforms

OK cryptoctopus, I've logged in using chainBB and my posting key. I assume it is somewhat safe to do that. I'm not sure how I feel about it yet but I'm willing to give it a try if you say it's the way to go.
If it makes you feel any better, your posting key gets saved into the web browser you are using and never sent over to my servers. All the blockchain magic happens in your browser :)

ChainBB will need to integrate a ReZap button into its post ;-)

It took a bit of doing to find out how to make this post on chainbb.com, but with a bit of reading, I managed it. I also found the answer to my questions about the various Steem keys! So THANKS for that. I'll also be following you because I want to learn more.
Thanks for bringing chainBB to my attention. I had not heard of it until seeing your post. I'll be giving it a test drive in the coming days to see how it performs compared to Steemit.

This is awesome!! Having all the projects on the ChainBB would be an easy way to see how each project is going. The best part would be how fast to find them all. Thanks for your continued work on this. I have watching this come about and think this will be a big part of the future of Steemit.
Posting on chainBB. I think this is my first comment actually. I could see this becoming the standard platform for discussing pieces on Steemit.

Well I'm always game to try something new and this looks pretty interesting. The whole Steemit, cryptocurrency and blockchain thing is pretty new to me so this is really helpful for me to check out info and advice from those who have been on the bandwagon a lot longer. I love it when everyday is a school day
I'm in for a big learning curve but I'm sure its going to be a blast of fun along the way and hey who doesn't like making money while having fun.

Wow, there's a lot to this. I'm new to steem and the only people I know on it are in other states. It can be confusing if you don't know what you're doing (like me ha ha) I'm loving steemit so far. It's a very interesting place and a very supportive community
It's a really cool project. I did buy a little during the pre-sale. Can't wait to see what's next.
Between stuff like Zappl and ChainBB, this whole community and everything connected to it; the people, the apps and all around good vibes, is just really good to see and be a part of.
I write for the first time via chainBB. I think it is an awful platform and it could be used with success by forum sites to reward the users who are best contributors in producing content.

I just realize, that chainbb right now is the only way to make sure, that you will read all messages from specific thread, because this gives a linear interface :)
Probably I will read all important entries like those from steemitblog using chainbb :)

to this post INSIDE chainBB, you will simply need your steemit account name and your posting key to login to chainBB with your steemit account!
Your posting key is iin Wallet > Permissions> an in that page youll see "Posting Key" copy that and use it to login to chainBB! Once youre inchainbb either use the search bar in top right corner to search for this post "Mesh Steem projects" or use the link above! Its very cool its like subreddits fir steemit but better! now all the content of a similar type can stay in the same spot and be curated by a group of fanatics!
@jesta is a huge hero and i am so glad to see people creating upgrades this ground breaking! and thank u for bringing in all your followers @cryptoctopus! now I will g post on reddit and invite evrone from thedonald and pics and every big subreddit over to steemit too get PAID!!!

As I writs this on beta.chainBB.com (full link https://beta.chainbb.com/zappl/@cryptoctopus/meshing-steem-projects-a-new-zappl-board-on-chainbb ) I am watching this post grow to almost six HUNDRED replies, and the chainBB page can only show so many posts per page, and we are now at over 3 pages, whenever a forum has over 3 pages of a thread noone is gonan go through more than1 or two of them but a small minority!
I find myself having to use STEEMIT just to see more comments ! the chainBB needs the ability to shrink down all the text so I can get ALl of it on one page!
hahah i find myself having to use the HDTV just to see all the text and comment!
how can we keep track of them all do the top comments with teh most veiws show up on the top of chainBB? can I reorganize the comments onhainBB?

this is amazng but i feel like a fear of missing out is gonna be huge! WE NEED to create subreddits for aLL the top sureddits like Pics and AskReddit (AskSteemit) TheDonald and Advice Animals, those top sureddits have like 30 times or ore as many users as we have total on steemit! we are only 170,000 users on steemit reddit has over 240 MILLION users ! Facebook has 2 BILLIOn users
We can fuckon bring in redit users like moses freeiing the digital reddit slaves! who create content without ANY pay!
so any power users on reddit would LOVE to switch to steemit and NEVER look back!

Is there any way to login without using account credentials?
no. Just like steemit, you need to have an account to add content to the blockchain.
For security you can (and should) log on using your private posting key. This will only allow posting access with your account and you can't transfer steem or anything like that.
There are many helpful posts about the different keys, but you can find the settings under "Wallet/Permissions"

Ok so yeah you just have to login with your steemit account! DOnt worry its easy! You just need that "Posting key" which is in your Wallet > Permissions and u will find your posting key inthat list!!!! use that to login to chainBB

Alright. If used inappropriately, what's the worst thing someone could do with my posting key?
It's legitimate to worry about this, but as long as funds aren't at risk (which they aren't in this case), it isn't too bad. ChainBB is a reputable project, it's super unlikely to have anything bad happen unless, worst case scenario, they got hacked somehow.
Someone could post and vote in your stead. Until you change your posting keys. (they can't touch your funds)
